    General Idea:
    Get Near them, Once they agro do a complete 180 U turn and run as fast as you can boosters on in the other direction, keep hitting the R key (nearest target) once you see the nearest target around 800-1k away (depending on the time you?re ship takes to do a U turn) do a 180 U turn and face the ARCs first, gun them down one at a time, you NEED to be able to gun down the ARC on a single pass... if your not able to do it then you need better gear and don?t try to solo this..(1 Red Borstel and 1 Red Bolt Driver with WO4 should do the trick just fine), in any case rinse and repeat till arcs and Belbullab?s are down, then go for the big game ships.


    Simple? not.. lol.


    Stuff You are gonna need:
    You ABSOLUTELY NEED The following stats on the parts! (if you think you don?t well by all means Rambo go ahead and try):


    Booster:
    A level 4 REd Bugged Booster (the ones with a ton more energy than they should for their level, not hard to find or expensive i think its a mission reward)
    Stats on booster:
    51+ Charge
    26+ Speed
    2k+ Booster Energy
    150- Consumption
    I?m gonna emphasize this... on this mission your booster is your LIFE... if you don?t have this kind of booster you wont last long... Reason? you need 15+ seconds of burn time to make it out of hell alive.. any less and you?ll be gunned down like a pig...


    Engine:
    103+ Speed Engine (YPR is basically irrelevant your trying to run away from these.. not outmaneuver them, NO you CANT outmaneuver them... tried on my JSF and they rip me a new one, the way to go on this mission is Huge shields, Huge Shunts and speed.. NOT maneuverability)


    Leet Korean Imp: (Namely Fuji & Jerom) "Psh! you?re a noob, only noobs use armor and shields on ships!, my JSF is all guns and YPR engines! who needs Shields or Armor when you don?t even get hit"
    Well im sorry not everyone has a 5th arm and can twitch around convulsively in a keyboard or is matrix hooked to his computer..., for those human beings that don?t score 100 kills - 0 Deaths on counterstrike there?s this walkthrough, if you can do it on a tiny ship with no armor or shields good for you, now since most of us cant, that?s why this guide was made lol.


    Shield:
    At LEAST 2500+ HP RE Level 8 Shield (the reward ones work just nice) AT LEAST to survive the volleys of every pass.


    Capacitor:
    1100+ Energy 48+ charge capacitor or better for almost non stop Shunting (A level 6 RE capacitor Usually does the trick)


    DI:
    18- Second DI (Prenerf is the best, if you cant get one a 21 second 3k mass one will do but you might not make it...)


    Guns:
    1 REd Borstel (or normal one what matters here is max damage and EPS the rest is irrelevant)
    1 REd Boltdriver with AT LEAST 23 EPS or less (This has to be REd or you?re gonna waste so much energy shooting you?re never gonna have spare to shunt)


    Armor:
    * Armor with at least 1200+ armor (front doesn?t really matter I?ve done it more than once without even getting hit in my front plating... but take a 600+ front plating armor just in case).


    Rest:
    The rest doesn?t really matter.


    Ship?:
    I recommend a Heavy Xwing.. or in imps case an Oppressor ANYTHING basically with DECENT handling (doesn?t need to be (and don?t recommend) an ADD afflicted ship AKA Awing/JSF) and 2 or more guns.. for neutrals I?m not sure I think Vaksai is good.
    You NEED 2 guns... if your really brave try it on a tie.. Although I hope you don?t mind dying a lot.


    Now for Mission:


    First Pick up mission
    Then TRAVEL using the TRAVEL command (DO NOT LAUNCH INTO SPACE) to some other quick/small starport town (talus imp base or Rori rebel base, doesn?t matter as long as its not a huge starport kinda town)
    Launch from here, and buff up your ship with the following Buffs:
    Weapon Overload 4
    Reactor Overload 4
    Capacitor Overload 4
    Engine Overload 3 (or 4 if you got a sick reactor)


    Don?t worry about decay just go to Deep space when you?re done and come back you?ll have it fully repaired (if you have no idea what I?m talking about or you?ve never gone to DS then don?t even try this mission you wont make it alive...).

    As for rebels, if you get shot down and end up in Kashyyyk station don?t repair there.. hit your self repair option, it will damage your components more to make you "Space able" again but they will not get decay in this way, and at least you can now drive your ship to deep space to get a full repair with no decay, if you repair in the station you?re gonna get you?re parts decayed and that?s one quick way to loose your ship :/ i died around 20 times perfecting this guide and i had the total of ZERO decay on my parts because I was using this vampiric repair when i died to have enough to get me into deep space, you should try it.


    Notes Before Fight:
    Cyssc Dishes out some NASTY missiles so this is why you have to keep AWAY from him at all costs, his commander what-ever (also in a Trandoshan ship) tosses some missiles too but like 1/4 of the power of Cyssc's so he?s not much of a threat, but both of e?m shooting a missile at you at once (which will happen.. and more than once) might wipe you out so be careful.


    Always Aim for the Capital Starships on the edges and Aim for their ENGINES ONLY, just disable them and leave the area and let them die.


    DO NOT DO A PASS UNLESS YOU HAVE FULL SHIELDS OR YOU WILL DIE. (and i cant stress this enough..)


    If you see them all bunched up DO NOT DO A PASS don?t risk it. (if you barge into the ball of ships you wont make it out alive....)



    This is how the fight should go EXACTLY or at least very close:


    Create this waypoint and activate it (/way 0 0 0 ) (This is so you know where the center of the system is, trust me you?ll need this... i kept running into the "edge" of the system and dying over and over this keeps this from happening


    Move in within 2000m of spawn area and wait for spawn to "line" up ( they make this huuuuge straight line with Cyssc's ship in the center and the ARCs on both ends REAL far from the center,


    Upon Spawn Target the ARC that?s closest to you.


    Once they finish their "line up" Head Straight for your nearest ARC, the second the ARC Agroes you do a 180 U Turn and head Towards Center of System Waypoint.


    Spam your "Nearest Enemy Target" Key so you can tell when you?ve reached U Turn distance from the closest ship tailing you.


    Reach U turn Distance (900m on a JSF 1100-1200m on an Xwing) and cut throttle to 1/2 speed to do a quick turn, once you?re facing the huge mob of ships hit full gas again.


    Head straight for First ARC, just before you reach firing range (600m) hit your booster.


    Dive Step A: With 100% shields Front and Back Take a Straight Dive on the ARC that?s FARTHEST from Lord Cyssc's Ship.


    Dive Step B: With luck you should be able to take it out in 1 pass and still have around a full capacitor left (66% of total Overcharged)(i did it with the guns mentioned above with only the overcharged bit of the capacitor energy used without much hassle), if you don?t well you?re odds of surviving this mission just got cut in 1/2 but lets assume you did kill it... if you didn?t just redo this steps again till its dead..


    Dive Step C: Once you kill it take a 90 degree turn AWAY from the mass of ships... and go as fast as you can, what ever you do, once you are enroute DO NOT change course keep a straight line if you turn a little they catch up and its over...


    Dive Step D: At this point they will blow away you?re rear shields in a second, make sure you got you?re Shield shunt ready and shunt what ever you got left in your capacitor to your shields as you are running away and do evasive maneuvers (move around in a small circle and roll) as you are heading away don?t just stand still or you will die, remember to always keep going straight.


    From this you might have ended up with around 60% front shields and 0% Back Shields with around 20% of you?re rear armor gone (80% left), considering it was the first Joust this is basically you?re worst case scenario, (I?ve done it with 10% shields left but its hard).


    Dive Step E: Keep going straight till you get FULL Front/Back Shields and DO NOT TURN until this has happened.


    Dive Step F: Once you have full shields and capacitor AT LEAST to full bar (the one that looks like its full but if its overcharged this would be like 66% of total overcharged capacitor energy) then turn around and Target the next ARC.


    Redo Steps A Trough E for all ARC's and Belbulab's.


    Once all these are dead Repeat Steps A Trough F for all Gunboats however these have 2 slight differences,


    First on these you are only to disable them (Shoot their engines, Reactors wont make e?m stop moving) once disabled they "time out" and explode after a while, in any case they are left somewhere and once disabled they are as good as dead they wont bother you anymore just make sure you don?t get near e?m on your future jousts.


    Second you should not always target the same ship on 2 different passes say if on this pass the ship you picked was Gunboat A cus it was the farthest and on the next pass you see Gunboat A is like BESIDE Cyssc's ship and Gunboat B is WAY far away then ignore Gunboat A and head for Gunboat B, EVEN IF GUNBOAT A WAS A 10% FROM BEING DISABLED, I?ve had this temptation before and i said how bad can it be ... i moved it and got PWNT.. all that time to waste... don?t be greedy play it safe.


    Once all gunboats are dead well pretty much rinse and repeat steps with Cyssc's Ship HOWEVER you should NOT disable him.. if you do you might not be able to kill it fast enough... and once disabled if not killed in like 3 mins he will "hyper" out and leave you in the dust.. so what you do is leave his engines at 10ish% so that he?s crippled and cant turn around on a dime.. (yeah W-TF devs??? capital starships turning on a dime... now that?s some nice stuff lol /sarcasm off) with his engine at 10% he will start running away from you, at this point just gun him down like a dog try to take out his weapons first so at some point you can just stand on a blind spot and gun him down without him blasting at you and him being unable to turn around to screw you.


    There you go mission complete! GG you win have fun! lol.

    Quest Overview

    This Quest is very long and very, very dangerous. It will reward you a badge and the Kashyyyk Medal of Freedom. You begin simply enough, by doing a little hunting for a down-on-his-luck adventurer on the Rryatt Trail. Your quest will take you deep into the Trails, into several space systems, into one of the least visited and most dangerous Instanced dungeons in the game, and make you a central participant in an epic and deadly space battle. The quest will require high-level pilot skills, a very good starfighter, and several Ace friends! Pound for pound, the only space missions that are tougher than the ones here are the Corellian Corvette (space) missions, and most Aces consider the final Lord Cyssc space battle the hardest in the game. Are you ready?

    The Minstyngar Horn


    ... to win the Kashyyyk Medal of Freedom...

    Carl Mosik (-706 -524) is a human hunter at the entrance of the Rryatt Trail who has gone native... sort of. Carl hires adventurers to hunt Minstyngars at the Worshyr canopy level of the trail, and promises to give a you a nice reward if you are able to find a flawless minstynger horn. Go to the Worshyr canopy and hunt any of the minstyngar types on the level until you get a message "Pristine horn found." The canopy is inhabited by: Shortly after finding the horn, a Blackscale Guard (CL64) will pay you a visit. He won't be friendly.
    Once you have the horn, return and speak with Carl Mosic. Call will then refer you to Zhailaut near the Gate, to discuss your Blackscale problem.

    The Trandoshan Radio

    A plan for Rroot and the Radio

    • Level: 75
    • Rewards:
      • 12000 credits
      • 78265 xp
    Speak to Zhailaut next to Carl Mosik near the Gate. He will ask you to retrieve the trandoshan radio from the Blackscale camp in the Web Weaver Path level of the Rryatt Trail. To find this camp, follow the path until you reach the Feral Wookiee camp. Travel to the right out of the camp, and you will reach the slaver camp. The slaver camp is guarded by: The radio (/way -561 -335) is in the second tent to the left. Once you find the radio, use it, and return to Zhailaut.

    You can sneak into the tent if you have stealth. Clicking the radio gives instant quest credit. So for some professions, you can complete this quest without fighting any of the enforcers.

    Space Kashyyyk: Forward Guard
    • Level: 0 (pilot mission)
    • Rewards: none
    Speak with Zhailaut, and he will send you to speak with Kymayrr in Kachirho, at the base of the great tree. She gives you a space mission, to capture Adjudant Rhosk, the Adjudant of Lord Cyssc, Trandoshan leader of the Kashyyyk occupation.
    Once you launch into space, you are given a waypoint to Rhosk’s forward escort:
    • 4-5 Tier 3 Trandoshan Ixiyen fighters
    Once these are down, Rhosk’s personal guard appears, a Tier 5 Belbullab-22 fighter. Engage and destroy it.

    The Adjutant Gambit

    After killing the Bellbullab-22, you will get a waypoint to Rhosk’s personal shuttle. Target its capacitator (using the "[" and "]" keys) and disable it, do not destroy it. Rhosk has another Bellbullab-22 escort (Tier 5), which you will have to deal with. After disabling it stay close to it, the Wookiee freedom fighters will disable the crew. Once the ship is under control, escort it back to the Kashyyyk Space Station. This completes the mission, return to Kymayrr in Kachirho.
    note: you can choose to avoid the Bellbullab-22 and just disable the target, then wait for updates to complete the mission.

    Rroot - Captured!

    ... Vengeance Ion Cannon...


    Kymayrr is very pleased with your work - but she has terrible news. Her son, Rroot, has been captured by the slavers! She asks you to rescue him. Return to the Blackscale slaver camp in the Web Weaver Path of the Rryatt Trail. Rroot spawns in the holding cell at the very rear of the camp. He will need you to go back and kill some of the feral wookiees to get a code to allow him to escape. When you return to him and converse you will be attacked by 3 Blackscale slavers (CL81), kill them and speak to Rroot again, freeing him. Return to Kymayrr for your reward. These Blackscale will spawn and attack from where the pack of blackscales are, which can make the fight rather difficult.

    2 Jedi and You will be able to complete this part easily.

    Destroy the Reinforcements
    • Level: 0 (pilot mission)
    • Rewards: none
    After you return to Kymayrr, she sends you to see Gursan Bryes (-556 -71), a Bothan in a hut near the great tree. Gursan will give you a space mission to the Tatooine System. When you arrive in the system you must engage and defeat the following:
    • 5 Tier 3 Trandoshan Ixiyen fighters
    When they are defeated, you must hyperspace back to the Kashyyyk System for a much tougher fight. When you arrive, there is a small squadron waiting for you - your deeds on behalf of the Wookiees have caught up with you: Once all these are dealt with, return to Gursan in Kachirho to complete the mission.

    When you jump from Tatooine jump directly to the Avatar Platform and be ready for a tough fight!

    Eliminate Hss'kas
    When you speak to Gursan again, he tells you that Broodmaster Hss'kas actually used an escape pod and survived your attack in space, crash-landing in the Etyyy hunting grounds (you must have access to Etyyy to complete this quest). As you enter the area you will receive a taunting message from the Broodmaster. Travel to (731 -488) to update the quest to the next part. Then head to the escape pod(980 -480). Be careful as you approach the escape pod - you will be attacked by four Webweaver spiders (CL82 elite). When they are dead, Broodmaster Hss'kas himself will appear (CL85 boss). Defeat him however you can, and return to Kymayrr.

    Summon Cyssc
    • Level: 82

    Lord Cyssc is the leader of the Blackscale and virtual master of Kashyyyk. He must be killed if the planet is to be free. Kymayrr gives you a device which you can use to summon Lord Cyssc into the system, so he can be ambushed and destroyed. But first, you have to get into the Blackscale slaver compound to activate the device. Return to Gursan to begin this part of the quest. This quest does not update when you talk to him - it is completed once you finish the next quest

    Enter the Blackscale Processing Camp


    Trandoshan Compound Bunker

    Talk to Gursan, and he will tell you that you must find a way to enter the Blackscale slaver camp in order to lure Lord Cyssc into range for a starfighter assault. The camp is actually a very-high level instanced dungeon outside of Kachirho on Kashyyyk (the Blackscale Slaver Compound POI). This area is also known as the Deathwatch Bunker of Kashyyyk, because of its difficulty - take a group! It is heavily guarded by the following:
    • Blackscale guards (CL81-85)
    • Genetically-enhanced Kahmurra
    • Landmine fields between the gate and the bunker entrance
    When you arrive, clear the entrance of guards and then "Use" the gate (radial menu) to make Captain Byrnes (CL84 elite) spawn, then defeat him. Once he is dead you will be able to enter the compound itself. At this point, the "Enter the Camp" part of the mission will update and you will recieve the xp reward.
    You have 1h30 to complete your mission. Your journal will update with a quest to gain access to the Control Room (see the map for this quest). Fight your way to the bottom of the compound and kill Warden Tosk (CL86) (map note 1). Take his passkey and enter the opposite room (map note 2). Power up the computer console in the room (map note 3). Then enter the computer terminal room (map note 4) and use the computer to activate the signal for Lord Cyssc. Leave the compound and return to Gursan for your reward.

    Tipping The Scales


    Lord Cyssc taunts you as you flee.

    The board is set; the pieces are in motion. Lord Cyssc has arrived in the system, and it is time to destroy him once and for all. This is widely considered to be the greatest space battle in the game, and requires serious strategy to win since it is a timed mission. A full group of Aces is a must. Lord Cyssc and his fleet include: When you first launch you will get a quest update that the Blackscale fleet is attacking some Wookiee resistence fighters. These will not last long, and you will get a "mission failure" message. Ignore this - the mission will update with your part soon enough. When it does, your group will be under heavy attack. Many strategies have been developed to deal with this fight. Most of them involve one ship acting as a "puller" to draw fire, and another ship acting as a "killer" to take out only the enemy fighters. Flying very fast and targeting the engines of the enemy starships has also proved successful, since after these ships are disabled they blow up after a few minutes. However it is attempted, the quest-holder must survive. Once Lord Cyssc is killed, return to Gursan for your reward. Congratulations! You have bested one of the hardest quest arcs in the entire game!

      im on summon cyssik now but havent setarted it - waiting for a group to form so i can get through it...

      killing Hss'kas was a real bitch on my own...but i did it - GCW buffs FTW

          havent done it yet...im on a roll in pvp...550 kills so far...lol...usually i dont get that for another couple of days
