48 Month Reward - the Familars that follow us

Star Wars Galaxies veterans have an exciting new reward available at the 48 month milestone: a special pet that can buff its master.
Depending on the familiar you choose, you can gain a companion that can enhance your precision and strength, agility, or constitution!

Details on claiming your reward and the bonuses each familiar grants can be found below.
Claiming your Reward
When you reach the 48 month veteran milestone, a Veteran Reward window will pop up when you log in. You can choose to claim your reward or decide to make your choice at a later time.
Choosing a Reward
If you decide to claim your reward, the next window that will pop up has a list of Veteran Rewards that you are eligible for.

• The Familar Pet is available for all Star Wars Galaxies players who have had an active account for 48 months or more.

• You can find the Familiar Pet on the list of items described as, "(ONE PER ACCOUNT LIFETIME)" with the name of the pet and the stats it can enhance.

Because the Pet Familiar is a one-per-account reward, the next window that pops up is a confirmation window. This is to make sure you are certain that you want to claim this reward at this time.

If you select yes, please make sure:

• You selected the correct Pet Familiar.
• You are logged in with the character that you want to have the familiar.

If you aren't sure about your choice or you would like the familiar for a different character, click "No" in this window.

Familiar Pets

The Mynock, Gackle Bat, and Mouse Droid are invulnerable. These familiars cannot attack or be attacked. These small pets will not interfere with combat targeting.

If the familiar's master gets 120m away the pet will disappear until it is called again.
When a familiar is in the world following his master the master gets a buff:
Gackle Bat - Precision and Strength Buff

• Char Level 1 - 19 : +5 Precision, +5 Strength
• Char Level 20 - 29 : +10 Precision, +10 Strength
• Char Level 30 - 39 : +15 Precision, +15 Strength
• Char Level 40 - 49 : +20 Precision, +20 Strength
• Char Level 50 - 59 : +25 Precision, +25 Strength
• Char Level 60 - 69 : +30 Precision, +30 Strength
• Char Level 70 - 79 : +35 Precision, +35 Strength
• Char Level 80 - 90 : +40 Precision, +40 Strength

Mynock - Agility Buff

• Char Level 1 - 19 : +5 Agility
• Char Level 20 - 29 : +10 Agility
• Char Level 30 - 39 : +15 Agility
• Char Level 40 - 49 : +20 Agility
• Char Level 50 - 59 : +25 Agility
• Char Level 60 - 69 : +30 Agility
• Char Level 70 - 79 : +35 Agility
• Char Level 80 - 90 : +40 Agility

Mouse Droid - Constitution Buff

• Char Level 1 - 19 : +5 Constitution
• Char Level 20 - 29 : +10 Constitution
• Char Level 30 - 39 : +15 Constitution
• Char Level 40 - 49 : +20 Constitution
• Char Level 50 - 59 : +25 Constitution
• Char Level 60 - 69 : +30 Constitution
• Char Level 70 - 79 : +35 Constitution
• Char Level 80 - 90 : +40 Constitution

These buffs disappear when the familar is stored.
Tip! If you are a spy and want to stealth, you should pack your familiar first.

these things are trade-able

i bought mine - Gackel Bat for the 40 to precision and strength - it is a noticable addition when i PVP and i usually try to always have it out
