My work buddy (Called WB from now on) told me an interesting story of his time in Bosnia. They had rolled out to a hotspot and ware pinned down, all of a sudden WB notice that the APC they are traveling in is starting to shake, they obviously wonder what it is when the commander opens the hatches and tell them to look up. They see two Apache helicopters hovering above the APC, WB see the pilot giving the thumbs up, the other Apache starts to circle around the perimiter and one Apache stays with the APC while rolling in. I remember this as being an ally with hills around and risk of ambush. Talk about good cover
