Re: Star Trek Online
there isnt much to it. just fly around and do missions. get loot and rewards and equip your officers and ship. rinse and repeat. lol
i actually expect swtor to be the same. not much content. just graphic glitter. i say this because the last few games i have played have been like this. AoC is still fun but instead of playing on my high lvl toons i start new ones. because there is more to do at lower levels. anarchy online i still get into because there is a lot to do there still. even though its an old game. still waiting for the graphics engine update.
i cant get into wow. to cartoony and im not a fan of fantasy genera, more of sci-fi and aoc has a great story to follow."CAIN" • '07 Jeep JK • 426 HEMI 600+ HP & ft lbs

Re: Star Trek Online
Well Joe to be honest I am done with WoW.....to much work and time spent getting geared up, of which right now I simply can't do.
I gave STO it's due diligence...and found it lacking in content and story line, there is no real continuity from mission to mission. Although the problem is that you can take one mission and blend it throughout the universe and it's much the same. You beam down to planets to either investigate resources...or to kill the invaders.
Overall STO is simply eye candy for scut work.
I think over all, I am done with MMORPG's....
Actually there isn't many games out there that have kept my attention for very long.
I long for the days when we all could agree on a game and stay with it...no matter how many times you guys shot me in the back with that M60 or the sniper rifles.
