Need help on graphics please :-)

Hey, just looking for a little help here... been trying to save a new custom avatar image and a signature graphic... far as I can tell, both meet all the reqs (both file size, pixels, kbs, etc) and they are in jpg format. But whenever I try to save it, tells me "Invalid file". Anything obvious that I'm doing wrong?

testing the signature again... after upload i had to use the img tags in the text box to add it. it didnt automatically use the uploaded sig image
