Finally got my RAID working
Vista has the drivers built in already
all i had to do was set-up RAID in my BIOS then reboot and hit F4 then F10 before windows loaded so i could set-up which drives to use as my RAID
i have my 2 36 gig raptors as RAID 0 and i also set-up my other 2 Raptors (150 gigs) as another RAID 0 (i have a backup drive for backups so i opted for the performance array settings)
now to get my 500 gig ide working...some reason windows isnt recognizing it though my 250 gig backup is on an external drive adapter via usb which is nice - its SATA so it wont work on my 500 gig ide drive - i bought an external drive bay for ide, though BIOS saw it windows installed the driver but did not see the drive - strange
ive already noticed a big difference in programs loading and installing...the speed is very fast and impressive - finally i got that damned RAID working on these 36 gig raptors lol
